Angry Birds Hunt for the Golden Pistachios is the second mini game released by Rovio that require secret codes to unlock some levels of the game. The game has 5 exclusive levels and 1 secret level which is unlocked when you finish all the five levels. When you reach the final 3 levels of the game, a toy randomly appears in the level. Destroying the toy would gain you a prize to be redeemed later but this promotion already ended.
On February 8, 2012 a new promotion, called The High Flyers’ Contest, was launched.Players take a screenshot of their high scores and posts it to the Angry Birds Official Facebook page. Ten players win a purple Hong Kong angry birds plush each week. The promotion ended on March 5,2012.
